Pat Brown Jr is an Australian country music artist, multi-instrumentalist and bush balladeer from the North Coast of New South Wales. Drawing inspiration from the rich storytelling traditions of Australian country music, Pat has built a reputation for authentic performances that celebrate the people, places and spirit of rural Australia.
Growing up in Woolgoolga, Pat developed a love for music at an early age. At just 12 years old he was discovered by legendary bush balladeer Brian Young, whose encouragement helped shape Pat’s path as a performer. Over the following years Pat gained experience performing across eastern Australia, achieving success in numerous talent quests and competitions including winning Aussie Bush Idol at The Man From Snowy River Festival in Corryong, Victoria.
Pat’s debut album Get Along, released in 2019, paid tribute to the Australian songs and traditions that first inspired him. Since returning to Australia following the COVID years, Pat has continued to expand his performances while also giving back to the community through shows in nursing homes and seniors centres.
With new original music scheduled for release in 2026 and an increasing number of live performances across regional Australia, Pat Brown Jr continues to grow his audience while staying true to the storytelling tradition of Australian country music.
