Biography

Pat Brown Jr is an award-winning Australian country artist, multi-instrumentalist and bush balladeer from Woolgoolga on Gumbaynggirr Country. His music is grounded in a deep respect for Australian songs, stories and cultural heritage.

Discovered at the age of 12 by legendary outback performer Brian Young, Pat developed as a working musician steeped in the tradition of artists including Slim Dusty, Buddy Williams, Reg Lindsay and Stan Coster. He has since built a reputation for warm, authentic live performances and honest storytelling, touring throughout eastern Australia at festivals, country music events, community venues and his own headline shows.

Pat’s debut album, Get Along (2019), paid tribute to the songs and traditions that shaped his musical identity. In 2026 he released the original single Sunny Queensland Skies, continued developing a new body of original work and expanded his live schedule with his first Tasmanian tour and a growing Country Revival concert series.

Whether appearing solo with guitar or alongside guest artists and a full band, Pat’s focus remains the same: connecting with audiences through songs that are genuine, memorable and unmistakably Australian.
