About Pat Brown Jr
Pat Brown Jr is an Australian country artist, multi-instrumentalist, and storyteller from the North Coast of New South Wales, whose music is grounded in a deep respect for Australian songs, stories, and cultural heritage.
Raised in Woolgoolga, Pat developed a strong connection to music at an early age. At just 12 years old, he was discovered by legendary performer Brian Young, whose encouragement helped set the foundation for Pat’s path as a musician and performer.
At the heart of Pat’s music is a passion for storytelling—capturing real-life experiences, reflecting on the past, and exploring identity through a contemporary lens. His debut album Get Along (2019) paid tribute to the songs and traditions that shaped his early musical identity, and with new original work underway, Pat continues to honour the legacy of Australian storytelling while carving out his own place within it.
